Recent trip to Eden Project

I visited the Eden Project to take part in a Botanical Painting 3 day course (will post about that soon) whilst there I took some photos with my newly acquired camera, Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II. It was an ideal place to test it out with a wealth of beautiful flowers and plants.

Refurbished stool #2

Found another old stool in need of repair, so I transformed it, and all for free since I had the things already :) It has taken so long to finish that the sedum in the background has flowered! Not bad for £2 though.

Music Paper Flowers

I decided to make some little and large paper flowers for card making and maybe other collagey projects. I used some music sheets I had bought, and some other translucent and cartridge paper, beads and sequins. Watch this space to see what I use them on!

I havn't done a mood board since college, so it seems like a good place to start before I make my next batch of cards :)

Spring Florals Cards

I decided to concentrate on a single theme for my cards of late, and it is spring florals. I plan to make lots of cards and stuff in this theme until I tire of it or run out of stuff!

More tissue holders!

Can you tell it's the only thing I know how to make?! Anyway I got some new fabrics & embellishments yesterday so though I'd make yet more tissue holders, more creations coming soon!

Flowers in a box

My latest creation is a little garden of flowers in a box frame. I punched the little blooms out of floral paper and then embellished them using beads and sequins. The free standing flowers are suspended on pieces of tiger tail.

This weekend I had a floral extravaganza and made these cards and tissue holders, I love the pretty patterns and flowers.





I got some pretty fabric and made some elegant tissue holders, great gifts if I do say so myself!


I also made some birthday cards using my new flower punches and some floral papers, quite successful I think.
