Vintage Nostalgia Show Finds

Today I visited the Vintage Nostalgia Show in Stockton, Wiltshire. It was a lovely day with lots of gorgeous vintageness everywhere! So much inspiration for the home and wardrobe! Here are some of the things I bought and some of the things that caught my eye!

I bought 2 Daily Mail annuals, a pile of vintage beer mats, a tin mug in which to put a plant, green bottle (of course) glass jelly mould and a beautiful beaded headband.

The beaded headband is so cute I love it.

Here are some of my latest creations: A lace covered miniature wreath with fabric flowers and buttons, Fijjo Flint Tor Vintage Egg cups mounted in a box frame and a little mosaic tile.

My Fireplace

Just a few shots of my fireplace, I've tried to make a feature of it for the summer, using vintage stuff I've collected, greenery and some logs.

I had a lovely week in Cornwall this week, visiting Looe, Lanhydrock, Eden Project and Killerton.

Flea Market Finds April 2014

Today as I often do I braved the vicious winds to go to the Giant Flea Market in the Bath & West Showground in Shepton Mallet.

I was pleased with the milk jug I bought, as is it a Wedgewood design, "Woodbury" of which I have a small collection already (see this post). I loved the colour of the other jug I got, I think it's from Poole pottery. I also got 2 small creatures, a Whimsy vole and random glass Hedgehog!

Also lots of necklaces were around, so I carefully chose 2 so as to not go mad and buy lots! (very tempting). Finally I got an old tin in which I plan to put plants, oh and some more small bottles to add to the many I already have! A good day and worth the cold.
