Flowers in a box

My latest creation is a little garden of flowers in a box frame. I punched the little blooms out of floral paper and then embellished them using beads and sequins. The free standing flowers are suspended on pieces of tiger tail.

New Floral Creations

This weekend I had a floral extravaganza and made these cards and tissue holders, I love the pretty patterns and flowers.





I got some pretty fabric and made some elegant tissue holders, great gifts if I do say so myself!


I also made some birthday cards using my new flower punches and some floral papers, quite successful I think.

My Sewing so far!

I got a sewing machine for Christmas so I've been busy trying to figure out how to use it. These are my 2 successful projects so far!




Sewing Machine cover
I discovered it is quite hard to make a cover for something whilst using it to make the cover that you're making for it, but it came out ok in the end, and now my machine wont get dusty.



Tissue holder
I bought some pretty fabric yesterday and thought I could make it into a tissue holder, which doesn't take much fabric and is good practice, I think I should have made it a teesy bit bigger though.

Highrise

This is my latest Illustrator creation, the building is part of a drawing of a futuristic building design by an italian guy called Antonio Sant'Elia, who was killed during the first world war. I find his sketches inspirational and so I created this abstract piece.
